DIY Publishing: screen printing workshop part 1

This workshop will include the basics on how to prepare a design for screenprinting. In Part I of the screenprint workshop we will brainstorm and design a poster together. We will think about what we want and the final design. We will create a layout/grid and think about what different aspects and details are important. We can make a collage with snippets or design everything together. At the end, we will have a finished design that we will transfer to a screenprint frame so we can make posters – which will be Part II of the workshop on May 23.

Bring your textures/grafics/patterns with you as we may transfer some of them on the final poster. Be aware, the workshop is complete offline and analog so we can’t print out photos, clean text or similar things. If you want to bring something with you to trace it, you need to copy it beforehand.
