Berlin Federated Network Exploration Circle

An experiment in having a space to discuss the autonomous social space called the fediverse. And to meet in person with people interested in open social networks in general. This is a warmly ‘beginners welcome’ space open to anyone without the assumption of any prier knowledge.

We will meet at 7pm and start making some tea and coffee, and if anyone wants to bring snacks to share that would be very appreciated. There is also a späti across the street with 1€ beers.

• Râu Cao will talk about how Kosmos co-operatively hosts all kinds of federated services, pulled together by a FOSS (soon-to-be-ready-for-others) accounts management back-end and UI.
• Dantescanline will talk about the anarchist media landscape on the fediverse.
• Liaizon Wakest will explore the semantic boundaries of the term ‘fediverse’ and how they affect communication of the topic for people new to it.
• Gábor Ugray will give a presentation about a tool they built called RSS Parrot.
